Air Flow Exceeds design value
I keep gettin gthis message while running the VE-Gaia ASHARE PRM tool. Sometimes it gets all the way through one orientation, others it quits right away.
Re: Air Flow Exceeds design value
Hi,
I had a look through out system but there are no previous queries with this message. I suggest you review the system that is being assessed and ensure all inputs are valid, maybe do a network check as well to see if this flags any issues.
sorry I can't help more, maybe another of our forum members with more HVAC experience can help out more?
Phil

Re: Air Flow Exceeds design value
Is that you are using Apache HVAC, if right , you set too much flow controller, total airflow from 2 nodes come to other one that have airflow setting - this setting doesn't needed.
Re: Air Flow Exceeds design value
Just to continue on this, I have used PRM, and the results in load calculation appeared to be in line with the design air flow, however in the simulation result, it always higher than input, I have tried to set the airflow (mix-max range) in both heating/cooling flow controller as well as design air flow in the spreadsheet.... I couldn't get the simulation run with design air flow, can anyone help me understand the simulation result? How get the dynamic simulation with design flow figure. Btw, I am using Apache HVAC VAV system.... Pls help! thx
