VE Sensible Heat

Hello VE Users / Support,
Has anyone done a comparison between the annual sensible heating / cooling - loads / consumptions between VE and other Building Simulators?
It seems to me that VE has a tendency to over estimate the heating loads. I have constructed an simple model in VE and ESP-r. There are no internal gains. The heating set-point is the same. Climate files are the same etc... As a result, VE has a 8% higher sensible heating load. Any ideas?
As I begin to add internal gains to the buildings in VE and ESP-r, the building simulators also get closer and closer. Again any ideas?
