Is there a way to overcome the problem of applying different window/door opening profiles to openings on the same wall? If one wall has windows with different function (i.e. some opening, others fixed), how would one apply them since the application is done on surface level and not on element level? I am modelling a glass wall with the said problem. It is further complicated since even doors have to be modelled as windows, as I have not found a way to make transparent doors. I have read the post on applying multiple constructions on the same wall (in essence the same problem) where the advice was to divide the space as needed to split the wall. I would hope there to be a simpler way with openings as there could be a fixed window over an opening glass door, therefore requiring dividing the space not only vertically but horizontally as well. (Plus I have tried to divide the space in my model only to warp the rest of the walls; BTW, is there a reason why this happens sometimes?) The only way I can think of getting by is to calculate the prcentage of the openable area from the total window system but such a way is prone to errors and changes every time a window size is changed.
If anyone has a more logical way of doing this, please help. Also a suggestion to IES technical people for future revisions: please make both construction and openings profile application to go down to the element level. That would solve many modelling dilemmas.
Thanks in advance.

Re: modelling multiple opening types on a single wall
You can already do this
In MacroFlo select the room, go down a level of decomposition (blue down arrow), select the wall containing the openings you want to edit, go down another level of decomp, then you can select any selection of openings on that wall (click and drag in the workspace or hold Ctrl + click each opening to select). When you have selected the openings you wish to edit click the Edit Selection Set Opening Types button and you can apply opening types to these openings.
All you have to do is ensure you draw each opening separately in ModelIT so they can be selected independently.
