Error: Surface index out of range on rooms file: 1509.
Recalculate SunCast shading

obviously ive rerun suncast with no problems and yet I still get this message when trying to run cibse loads and apache sim with the suncast link box ticked.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

I've heard of this in the past when the room browser list had been mixed up. You should see that all rooms are displayed at the top of the list then the shading surfaces/rooms are then listed below these, if a room has somehow ended up below or mixed in with the shading objects then this might be the problem.

An easy way to fix it if this is the case is to edit the room that appears below/in the shading list to define the room as a local shading then set it back to a room, this forces the list to be refreshed and the room will be back in the rooms list. Rerun the Suncast again and shouldn't get the error at sim time.

Try that and see if it works
