Best practise to define Shading Device

In complex model, I have define all window shading in "shading device" in Apache construction database to reduce calculation time.
Will those shading parameters be considered in FlucsDL Calculation also or not?
Which is the best practice to define shading in short time period as well as lower simulation time?
