weather file in use for validation

Hello,

At the 1st step of model check, has anyone used <VE> ApacheCalc results to compare with manual calculation method utilising CIBSE steady state models? If so, which weather file could I use if using data from Table 2.30 and 2.34 in CIBSE guide A for London area? I tried with HeathrowEWY.fwt but the difference in results was so significant and the external weather data is quite different.

I was also trying to search for any article discussing about validating CIBSE example of the simple office using VE but haven't found it yet.

CIBSE loads doesnt use the weather file (FWT/EPW).
It uses the monthly design data from CIBSE.
