Dear All,
I can't run any calculation with ASHRAE method (cannot click on the button), CIBSE or Dynamic are available but not ASHRAE.
And I've got the full set of VE Pro.
How can i fix it?
Cheers
ASHRAE Loads not available
Re: ASHRAE Loads not available
Hi,
This sounds similar to a problem another of our users had recently. Just to confirm, the ASHRAE Loads button is available in Apache but when you click it the settings dialog appears and you can't click the Calculate button?

No, ASHRAE Loads button isn't available
the button seems to be hidden in Apache.

Re: ASHRAE Loads not available
ok that sounds like it may be a license issue then
First, check that you are in "ASHRAE Loads mode". In Apache select the menu Setting s>> Load Methodology and ensure you select ASHRAE (not CIBSE). Ok this and when you return to Apache you should now see the button is available for ASHRAE loads.
If you do this and the button is still greyed out/inactive then that means the license is not available, check License Control to see if you have ASHRAE Loads ticked and Check Usage to ensure it is not locked by another user (if network licenses).
If you don't have a license for this but you have paid for one (I'm not sure if you are perhaps on a student license in which case you should have everything?) please send a Full troubleshooting report to keys@iesve.com and ask them to update the licenses for ASHRAE Loads.
If you follow this advice I'm sure you will be able to access ASHRAE Loads but if you have any further questions or anything is unclear feel free to post here.
