Re: new download
Hi ,
You can open your project in newer version i.e. 6.3.0 ,once you are done with the purchase & license for new IES<VE>.
For more safty, try to keep latest CAB file with you.
Procedure to create CAB file:
File>>Archive>>Current Project OR Click ‘Archive Current Project’ button from the toolbar.

Hi,
You shouldn't have any problems with this. Just make sure you have a secure backup of your project before you do anything - as Vajindar has said earlier an archive/cab is the safest way to do this.
When you activate your new licenses the existing version of VE you have installed will work fine and after you confirm this I would suggest then you can consider downloading and installing the latest VE from our website - the same keys will work with either version so you don't have to worry about this.
Then when you have VE installed you can look at upgrading your project. You haven't indicated what version you are currently using but I don't foresee any issues arising from the model upgrade process.
so hopefully from this you can see there is nothing to worry about...
