How can I access ApacheSIM files?

Post by mountainbiker1 »

I made a simple model of a two room building, one room above the other, lower floor heated, upper not with an aperture between and did ApacheSIM with different heatloads and insulation to generate annual temperature graphs for the upper room. I copied the graphs to a powerpoint peresentation.
I now want to do further work. The graphs I presented were of two lines (iterations/ variables.) I now want to look at each line separately to discern the differences between the variables. The project and iterations are named (imaginatively) new1 - new8. I can find the files new.htg, new1.ann, new1.aps through to new8.aps and new.ajf, new.apc, new.mjf, new.mtd, new.mwf at c:/programme files/ IEWS/new/vista.
BUT I can't open any of them!
How can I review the old material? Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

The results files in your project folder can be viewed in Vista (under thermal in VE). If you have the project open they will probably automatically load when you open Vista but if not then use the Vista menu to load them as required.

The Vista manual will give a summary of the file types but .htg and .clg are from loads calcs and .aps are from simulations.
