My edition is 6.2.0.3. I found I can not run Apachesim if I cliked the SunCast Link everytime (there were no problem for ohter link)? Is there any possible solution to add completed solar shading calculation into the Vista results?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Vicky,
I have not came across such issue so far. Could you please tell me which error you are getting when you try to run ApacheSim with SunCast link ticked ON?
Knowing the error message will help us to track the exact problem.
I hope you are running suncast calculation before making suncast link ON.
It could be some geometry issues , please make sure that you model geometry is clean.
You can check it using 'Settings >> Model...' menuItem.
Please check the link for more information:

I hope this has been of some help.

I used the same file under 6.2 and 6.3 yesterday evening, I found that they can run smothly, expect 6.2.0.3. Even if I make a simplest room only, the suncast link is always out of work after running suncast calculation.

Hi Vicki,
It's still difficult to work out exactly what the problem is here.
If you get an error e.g. issue with [surfaces] data or [windows] data when you try to simulate with the SunCast link on then Vajindar's advice should be followed. We did fix some problems in the latest 6.3.0.1 release where this validation was being too strict so models with no geometry problems should no longer see this problem.
If the tickbox for SunCast isn't available in the simulation settings dialog then this may be a problem with your licenses - if you are on a network licence make sure noone else is running SunCast and locking the licence otherwise restart VE and you should see the option is available again.
