Using radiators to dehumidify a space

Hi,

I am trying to run a simulation to show that i can use electric storage heaters in a space in order to dehumidify it.

I created a model and set the humidity to 30% and set the heating and cooling temperatures to the desired level.

When I ran the simulation I was presented with a set of results. One of these results was the dehumidification load.

My question is in order to use the radiators to dehumidify the space would the heating load then be the dehumidification load added to the ies heating load?

Also would the cooling load be the dehumidification load added to the ies cooling load?

Or is there a way to run the simulation with the dehumidification load incorporated into your heating load result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either I do not understand you, or you wanted to talk humidification.

In terms of dehumidification, there are two methods commonly used:

- Cool the air to condense the moisture. And warm with the heat from the heat pump. See the chart Psychometric on Wikipedia.

- Use a desiccant wheel. Moisture is absorbed by the desiccant material. To release the moisture of the material, it is necessary to heat the material.

But it is impossible to dehumidify the air with only heating.

For the same humidity, if you increase the room temperature, you reduce the relative humidity. But you do not dehumidify.
