Auto sizing custom HVAC

I dun know exactly Apache "ASHRAE Loads" can sizing fan(s) and coil(s) for a custom HVAC system. It seems work only with coil(s).
Auto sizing base on Leed PRM works very well on prototype system, but doesn't work on custom system, especially with flow and fan(s).
Any advice will be appreciated!

Hi,
Autosizing can only be done with the Prototype systems at the moment so custom networks will need to be sized manually.
Sorry

this is maybe one you'd have to get on to Support and ask as I'm not sure how it should work for PRM.
To switch off the autosizing when running the Loads calcs it should simply be a case of unticking the "Update ApacheHVAC system sizes?" checkbox on the ASHRAE Loads settings dialog but I don't even know if you have control over that for the Baseline and Proposed systems?
Sorry I'm not a great deal of use here

Hi,
I am having some problems in understanding how do the ApHVAC/ApacheLoads work.
For example, I want to obtain the flow rate necessary to a zone to a certain condition of internal gains, solar gains, etc.
Apparently, it is not possible to autosize the flow. Can you confirm this to me, please?
Currently, I am using the version 6.4.0.6
Thank you.

Each predefined HVAC system in IESVE has a conjunction with some exel file that contents flow calculation formula, following ASHRAE 62.1 (2007 - I suppose)
Thus, ApHVAC can not auto reside custom HVAC fan flow because of lack excel formula file.
In some case, we see ApHVAC resizes flow because preset flow is higher than flow demand in simulation, it doesn't mean ApHVAC follows ASHRAE 62.1.

Thank you for your answer.
I just don't understand how to run one sizing run in ApHVAC, i.e, I have one zone, with a certain cooling load and I want to discover the value of the air flow that corresponds to this cooling load.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.

It's base on Cooling load and Air Flow calculation after realizing Ashrae load.
