Hi,
I'm wondering whether thermal simulation results files can be combined easily?
I've modeled an existing building with deciduous trees to one side. This meant I had to create a SunCast solar calculation file for May-Oct when there is foliage on the trees and another from Nov-Apr when there isn't (actually I had to run two, one from Nov-Dec and a second from Jan-Apr, because SunCast won't run calculations form Nov-Apr as Nov is 'after' Apr).
This meant I had to run three thermal simulations, associating one of the above files with each one. So now I have a results file for Jan-Apr, a second for May-Oct, and a third from Nov-Dec.
It would be very convenient, in terms of viewing annual graphs, etc, if these could be merged. Is this possible?

Daithi.
Combining Thermal Simulation Results Files?
Re: Combining Thermal Simulation Results Files?
I don't know any way to merge them in Vista, you could export the results you are interested in to Excel and merge them there then use Excel tools to analyse the results. I can't think of a better solution than that I'm afraid.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, exporting to Excel seems to be the best option. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing an IES function or an easy workaround.
