Post by Tatota »

Hi
I have facing problem in the process for identifying room in Google Sketch up Plug in
When I click on identifying room the system shutdown
And the software not working probably
I don’t know where the problem is exactly
I need some help and advice for that
At beginning I select the building as one complements : error show for me that there is no room to be identifying

Then : I take it out to not let it as one complements
But the run not work problem also and system shutdown

I need some help and advice for that

Thanks Best Regards

Hi,

It shouldn't shut down your SketchUp session when an error occurs but this sounds to me like your model geometry may be too complex for the IESVE plug-in to find the rooms. Try simplifying your model a bit to see if this helps...our White Paper on modelling in SketchUp should help you with this as well http://www.iesve.com/corporate/media-ce ... 717_v2.pdf

It seems like you are trying to create a model using Thick walls but you have not followed a correct procedure for it.
Please see the videos for thick wall modelling on our website:

Thanks & Regards ,
