Hi I am modeling a big room that acts like a greenhouse, I order to avoid overheating I am using natural ventilation with Macroflow.

When I use Microflow the number of cells that I obtain is around 24millions. I would like to do the CFD only to section. For this I went to Model IT and made some cuts in the room so now is several room. Until here its OK because I could do the CFD for only the section that I wont, but when I run the simulation of Apache the results of the temperatures that I get are different than when it is only one room. So if I do the CFD I will be doing it for a wrong model.

Any suggestion how to make the CFD for only one section?

Partitioning the room into smaller rooms might work.

Here are a few suggestions for that though.
1. After partitioning the rooms, create 100% doors on all the connecting walls. Assign 100% opening size and "continuously on" as the opening profile in Macroflo.
2. Divide internal heat loads equally amongst all the rooms. eg. if the total internal load in original room was 100 units, make sure the room with 50% volume has 50 units of heat load.

This should give you results which are very close to what you get with a big room atleast in Apache. After that you can import boundary conditions for a specific area of focus in MicroFlo and save on grid size.
