Hello to everyone
I run a simulation using MicroFlo but I am not sure how I can save the file and reopen it without needing to run the simulation all over again.
The only way I am thinking of is pressing the button to run a new simulation and choosing the option "Save existing file and simulate with regenerated file". Is this working? Is there any other way to save the cfd results?
Thank you
Irene
Saving results in MicroFlo
Re: Saving results in MicroFlo
The results file is automatically written out at the end on the simulation, or if hit the pause button. It saves a file
projectname\CFD\projectname.cdf
If you hit run again and choose the save existing results option the first results will be written to
projectname\CFD\results\savedname.cdf
When you launch the Microflo viewer it automatically reads in the current results file
projectname\CFD\projectname.cdf
If you want to read in a file in the results subdirectory
projectname\CFD\results\
then you have to hit the file icon once inside the MIcroflo viewer window.
