Hi, Currently designing a natural ventilation system for a building using windcathers and I'm trying to preform a DTS using ApaceSim but keep getting an error saying
Exception C: / program files/IES/VE6.2/Apps/APACHE.EXE
Salford exception Handler
fails to register dialog procedure
Can you please guide me through this, I cant seem to figure out whats happening here.
Thanks, Gary

Re: ApacheSIM Exception Error
Hi Gary,
It is hard to say what really causes the error.
Generally any crash within Apache is model-related and most often it’s one of two things:
1. Geometry problem – non-planar or invalid space
To check the geometry in ModelIT select Settings>Model and check the intersections & surfaces boxes.
2. Corrupt display lighting gain.
3.It could be a permission issue.
Please try to save the project at C:\VEProjects\
4.There could be a formula profile with
5.Insufficient space on the drive.
Please check these checks & give a try for simulation , if problem still persists , please let us know.
