Adding artificial light fittings

Post by Vil »

I am a beginner of IES. I would like to add some electric light fittings into my model. I don't think I have LightPro installed in my IES. In this case, I wonder how can I assign artifical lightings in my model?

Many Thanks.

Hi,

LightPro is required for detailed light fitting placement which can then be analysed by FlucsPro or Radiance. LightPro should be installed as part of a standard VE installation but it may be you do not have a licence for this.

If you have the student licence or a trial then you should have all applications (in which case this should mean you have Light Pro and you just have to contact the IES keys team to ask for this to be added).

If not then I'm afraid you would have to consider purchasing this licence, contact the IES Sales team if you would like a quote for this and if you have any other questions on the process.
