Error message: external holes not permitted

I've created Macroflo Opening Types and asssigned them to my building. I've ticked the Macroflo link and tried to run a simulation. Straight away I'm getting "Error message: External holes are not permitted. Room F05_002, surface 0, opening 0 (numbered 0,1,..)" F05 is an internal void space surrounded by adjacent zones - I don't see why holes would not be permitted. I tried running the sim on a single room not adjacent to F05 and got the same error. Simulations run fine when the Macroflo link is switched off.
I'd be glad of any advice.

Hi ,
This error generally occurs if your model has external holes.
ApacheSim would prompt the error message if your model has external holes , you can create windows & create a profile for that so that It works like hole (make it 100% open & make it open always).
Please make the changes & give a try for simulation. If the problem still persists please let me know.

hey guys,
Just looking at this one a bit more, sometimes if you don't have great geometry you might think the hole you have placed is on an internal adjacency but due to inaccuracies in the model it's actually on an external sliver.
A good place to check would be ModelIT geometry check report (Settings menu >> Model..., tick on Intersection, Zones and Surfaces then click Check). This has a section listing the external holes in the model and might help you find the cause of the error.
