Profile for Daylighting and Interior Shading

I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate part of the forum to ask this question, but if I have both automatic daylighting dimming controls and automatic shading controls that respond to illuminance in a space, how to I create a formula profile to account for this? In particular, how do I account for a decrease in visible light transmittance due to the interior shades? Can someone give a couple examples?
Additionally, what if the dimming controls are controlled by illuminance, but the shades were controlled based on the time of day? What would an example of the formula profile look like then?
Thanks for your help.
