Hi,
I am not able to create a slope roof in ModelIT. I only able to create the default roof that can be produced by clicking "generate roofs for selected objects". How can I model the roof in Model IT?

Hello
This only works if it is a very simple roof. I have modeled some roofs by switching to right/left/front side views and then drawn them from the side. Afterwards i have connected (if the sloped roof is together with the part beneith) the rooms by adding a hole. But this only works with simple roofs.

Hi,
Thank you for this. But, do you mean that we cannot do the modelling properly in ModelIT, then how can we do complex models in Model IT?

Often you would be able to do some simplifications if the geometry is extreme. Else, i havent used google sketchup myself, but you could draw it in that program and then import it to IES VE to get all the details you want.

modelling these spaces is pretty easy, if time consuming, just don't expect a button to do it all for you.
I tend to draw a big box as big as the extents of my shape and cut the outline.
