Hi

Can any one explain when it states 'wind direction (E of N) what does it mean? if you can explain as simple as you can that would be great. if you can do me a diagram even better.

Hi Mark,

Wind Direction (East of North) is simply the direction from which the wind is blowing, measured clockwise from true north.

and what parameters does the wind direction affect???
I am trying to find out which is the influence of wind direction by analyzing a simple geometry (a cube with an open window)...moreover I created a typical year with constant temperature (30°) and wind from the north and velocity constant.
By analyzing the temperatures (Apache simulation, macroflo link activated, window always open) inside the cube and the air flow through the opening as the position of the window varies (I created 4 models with a window on each wall), results are the same!
what went wrong with my model?and if not, what is the influence of wind direction on the apache simulation?

I have this same question, how does the direction of the wind affect the openings, since I do tests by turning the building to see how the wind affects and the flow is practically the same for any orientation ?
