Hello

This might be wrong, but i only think IES VE can open 3D models of sketch-up and plan drawings from dwg.

Hi,

Mostly right KasperS, our main import (in addition to the SketchUp and Revit plug-ins) is a gbXML import. We are developing IFC import soon as well but it's still early days for that.

I'm not sure what export options TAS has but if you could get the model into SketchUp for example then it could be translated to VE, only the geometry though you'd lose any other data. In my experience the more translations through different packages the model goes through the more diluted the quality of the geometry becomes so this may not be possible at all

Hah!

TAS and IES are competing products - doubt they feel like working together really.
