Hi,

I have use the Revit to create a model in Cardiff , and, have imported it into IES-VE. I want to get the report of the analysis of <VE compliance> (UK&Ireland).

when I click on the “CO2 Emission: Part L compliance” under the <VE compliance> (UK&Ireland). It always shows “ one or more rooms have no NCM activity set. Cannot perform simulation. Please ensure all included rooms have an NCM activity set ”.

I was trying to set the NCM activity for each room as the it told. But it always says " with unproper parameter" no matter which one do I select. I don't know why. Also, when I try to change the building type, it also says " with unproper parameter". I am really massed up.

I've seen this before where bad geometry has come in from another software via gbXML (or using the plug-ins). The easiest solution I can think of would be to export the geometry from the VE to a new clean VE project (use the import/export GEM option in ModelIT to achieve this).

From this clean project starting point, you can generate a ModelIT geometry check report (Settings menu >> Model... tick intersections, zones and surfaces then click Generate)

Tidy up any major intersections and non-planar surfaces then change to VE Compliance and you should find there are no errors and you can set NCM Building Type, Room Type and Activities without further problems.
