Skylight

Hello

I'm having some trouble adding a skylight to my model. In modelIT I've worked my way to the roof surface (ceiling), but the add window button (and hole/door) is grayed out. This way works fine when adding windows to walls, but not roofs/ceilings.
I'm running versrion 6.4.0.6 with a student license.

Sounds like you need to go down one more level before you can add the opening. When you can only see the ceiling surface in plan view and are in Opening mode (not adjacency, see the dropdown beside the Storey selector) then you should find you can place openings either as Rectangular, Polygon or 100%. ModelIT user guide should help further

It worked. I obviously had the view on adjacency.
