Solar Reflectance / Solar albedo for building envelope

Hi,

Im working on a study to find the effect of the solar refectance/ solar albedo of the building envelope and roof. However when I develop my construction database for walls and roofs (Opaque constructions), the specification for the solar reflectance was not found. only the solar absorptance specification is found. Is that the IES consider reflectance = 1-apsorptance for opaque constructions?

How should I sepecify the soalr reflectance for the opaque materials? Please advice.

Hi,

For opaque Constructions Solar Reflectance is simply (1 - solar absorptance) which you can enter on the Surfaces section of the Construction
