Cooling profile

I have a project that its cooling system doesn't effect the simulation process unless the cooling profile is contentiously on !!!
after designing the building and testing with default building templates it works good and the results are reasonable, but as soon as changing cooling profile to anything except contentiously on the cooling system will be eliminate from calculation and the temperature in cooling loads will go up. !!!
I am totally confuses with this problem !!!!

Does anybody know that where the problem comes from?

It's hard to say what might be the reason.

Have you checked the profile to make sure it is switching on at some point during the simulation period?

Another thought I have is if you are running a loads calc rather than simulation then check the "time settings for profiles" on the loads settings dialog, if the time is set for when your profile will be off then this would explain the effect you are seeing.

Thanks,

I mean the same thing you do when you refer to the on continuously profile, a modulating profile has a value in the range 0 - 1 with 0 being Off and 1 being On.

I believe this is described in more detail in the ApPro User Guide (Help menu >> User Guides >> Thermal section).

It may be worth your time practising on simple tests creating profiles and assigning them in the model to see the effects they have in Vista.
