Surface properties map deleted

Post by hrydberg »

Problem description:

The second time I open Radiance, all of my surface properties have disappeared. It seems as if the saved .map file have been cleared, because nothing happens when I try to reopen it. Also, if I try to create a new surface property, say a floor, this property is set to all of my constructions, even the windows. So I create a glass surface property, but now the floor surface can't be replaced.

So I try to use my backup file which had been saved before I even opened the Radiance module for the first time. The surfaces are there, but the next time I open Radiance, they are gone again.

When I restart VE I get the message "The following application object IDs are missing from the application database and have been replaced by those listed." Followed by an empty list.

This same problem have occured before, in previous versions of VE, and I'm now running version 6.4.0.11.

need to load the map file in again in Radiance.
Logic seems to be "well... why would you want to do the same thing again twice" which is crazy.
The Map file is there there - just click the button in the maddeningly amateur looking grey tab.
