I want to introduce a final layer in constructions with plaster and Phase Change Materials (PCM) for simulation purposes. Does anyone knows how to model it?

Thanks,

Thanks

Hi,

This was removed as upon closer inspection we don't feel the approach was good enough to model phase change materials using ApacheSim. We will hopefully develop a more detailed solution in the software as this is a common request but for now I'm not able to provide you with any model for this.

Hi Phil, how is going on the development of the PCM solution?, I am also interested in model it. Thanks.

I would like to know if there are any developments in relation to modelling PCM in IESVE since as well?
I'm getting more requests from clients these days if they should consider using PCM for their developments and I wish there is a function within IES that does these effectively.

Cheers
A

Nicely done srang. Exactly one year to the day since Phil's last reply. You should have waited another 1 hour 51 minutes before posting it though
