Hello.
Sometimes, I use a computer to model the projects and another computer to simulate the model in IES. The computer that I make the models doesn't have the IES-VE installed, but has the Sketch Up plugin updated. I name the zones as soon as I identify the zones. But, when I try to export the model to the another computer, that has the VE, the names disappear. I'd like to know why these things are happening and if there's a way to fix it.
Thanks for the attention.
Losing the names of the zones
Re: Losing the names of the zones
Hi,
The names should be retained when you move the SketchUp project. I don't know al the tech details of how/where it saves them, when you move the .skp file try taking the whole project folder (including the veexport folders that created when you use the plug-in, maybe that's where the names are stored).
