Solar Insolation

Hi all,
A few general questions on SunCast if anyone can help
1) when running a shading calculation are the internal results giving values for insolation KWh/m2/day?
2) could anyone advise on suitable guidance for insolation values, i.e. what could be considered high value
3) what could be considered a high solar gain value W/m2
