Glazed Constructions

Hi All,
I have another Newbie question.
Can somebody tell me what are the IES equivalents to the NCM 'T' and 'L' solar values for glazing? Specifically within the construction window.
I'm constructing my glazing and must adjust these figures, together with the u value to agree with the NCM database.
Best
Paul

Hello Paul, welcome.
NCM related queries might be best posted within the Part L2 subforum but I'll answer what I can here.
The NCM 2010 notional glazing is contained within the install database and should be selectable in apache if you have previously gone into VE Compliance and set a building type.
I'm unsure what you mean by "T" and "L" but hopefully the above will give you what you need.

Hi CP,
thanks for the quick reply.
Yes, unfortunately the glazing I'm after is not Notional standard, ie to the 2010 Regs.
I have a mix of glazing installed, 1985 roof lights, single glazed wood, single glazed metal, and 3 types of double glazing.
When you click on the BFRC data values window. Two boxes appear. g-value and light transmittance.
And this is the confusion, because I always thought g (sometimes gL) was light transmittance; and T solar (g perp) is the total solar energy transmitted.
So under IES I'm not sure which is which!
Any help gratefully received.
best
Paul

I'm not sure what the BFRC data values window is but this is how I understand the glazing construction edit window works. I assume you are looking at the same thing?
