I am running a LEED model through the Appendix G PRM Navigator and the proposed model runs just fine. I set up the proposed model before jumping into the Appendix G Navigator. The baseline models run without error but when I look at my load spreadsheets, it is choosing a 38F as the design outdoor cooling temperature and no cooling load. The heating portion picks -13F, which is about right for Billings, MT, and results in no heating load. My systems are not enabling and the room loads are not being met even though the program tells me there are no unmet hours. I am new to the program and tend look at IES VE through my eQUEST and E+ glasses which doesn't always work for me. If you could help me figure this out, I would really appreciate it.

Check that you have the rooms assigned to an Apache system that is full air conditioning which is needed for the sizing. The default for the PRM is the ASHRAE baseline apache system.

Also, the Apache HVAC plant must be assigned to the correct fuel code. The heating will only populate if the correct fuel code has been defined on the heating source. For example, it needs to be either heating (fossil fuel) or heating (electricity). The chillers or dx units etc.. need to be assigned to “cooling” not “electricity”. Anything else and the results will not appear.
