k*****n Extract Hoods

Hi,
I was just wandering how people approach entering k*****n extract hoods into DSM simulations.
Can they be ignored as their use is intermittent and dependent on a specific activity?
My preference would be to enter them as local exhaust. However obtaining data for the flow rates and specific fan powers never seems to be straight forward. Particularly if they are made by companies that generally only deal in k*****n appliances.
By default IES will assume an SFP of 0.4 W/l/s which seems very generous.
