Light shelf reflectance

Hello.

I am simulating a window system with light shelf shading device. Light shelves have specular upper surface and reflect the light inside the building. The specularity and reflectivity can be defined in the radiance part. But I don't know how to define the reflected sunlight in Apache to consider the heat gain from the reflected sun light.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I don't think there is any way to model this for Apache. The properties of the light shelf can be assigned to the shading surface in the lighting packages to allow the lighting studies but for the thermal analysis there is no way to have the solar gain include this reflected energy.
