Hi,

Daikin have a 2013 version of the plug-in. If you contact them they will provide the latest version compatible with VE 2013. You need to install the new version after you install VE 2013.

It should be free from Daikin (unless they have changed their policy in the last 6 months). However, they do insist on doing a short training session with you before they issue the software if you're completely new to it. Speak to their helpdesk for further details.
