Does anyone know whether the suncast module is needed in order for shading from local devices to be taken into account when running calcs to check for overheating in Apachesim?
I have tried adding it by physically drawing it in and also adding it as an overhang in the construction but neither seems to make any difference. The shading in question is a canopy 3m in depth providing shade to some fairly sizeable south facing glazing.
Any help / suggestions much appreciated!

It certainly should be having an impact. When you run apachesim, have you got the suncast checkbox ticked?
