Night venting under DSM?

Simple question:
Am I allowed to add night venting into my actual building model via macroflo when under the DSM rules? I know IES allows it.
Thanks CP

I think so.
Night time ventilation always comes up in the EPC complexity flow charts for deciding a Level 4/5 building.
So this would suggest it was allowed.
How you allow for it in IES is less clear as so much is restricted to NCM profiles.

I had a chat with IES tech support and it turns out that if you apply a natural ventilation via the air exchanges tab in your apache profile then it is carried into a compliance run for your actual building. I tried it out and it works like a charm.
Great for situations where you have cooling with exposed concrete ceilings and a viable night vent strategy without the added complication of activating macroflo.
