DHW in an extension

Hi
I am modelling the extension to a building.
All the services are to be connected to the existing infrastructure.
As such the hot water usage is essentially limited to 2 hand basins.
The main system is a 1500l storage system.
As a result my DHW demand is very high but this is most likely due to the fact that I have a massive volume of storage for 2 taps which would obviously not be be the case.
I have tested the system with no storage tank and it passes easily so this is clearly the problem.
My question is how would you go about modelling the DHW in this scenario?
I was considering apportioning the volume of the storage to the extension.
Eg a total of 50 taps overall, 2 taps in extension. storage volume =1500/25=60l
Is this a reasonable assumption.
Thanks
