I have a project that is located on a sloped grade where a floor is below grade on one side and above grade on the other. I built the model to be completely above grade and am trying to assign an absolute temperature profile as the adjacent condition of the appropriate exterior (below grade) walls, which I know how to do via the "edit multiple adjacencies" tool in Apache.

Is there a way to query what the currently applied condition is for each surface?

I've seen posts about using the "query" tool on a surface (in Apache), but in VE 2013 FP2, this only provides area, orientation, tilt and reflectance of the surface.

I've also seen posts about drilling down to the surface level in ModelIT and then changing from "opening" to "adjacency" in the drop-down menu in the toolbar, but this only shows that "adjacent room name" is "EXTERIOR."

It shouldn't, that should be exactly how you see to which profile your adjacent temperature is set. Try having another look.

Tryit in the Apache application, I think you didn't go far enough down when you tried this previously.

Go down to the surface adjacency level (might need to change the dropdown from opening to adjacency) and then hit the query button and you will see area, assigned construction, adjacent space and adjacent condition all relating specifically to the adjacency selected

I know this post is rather old now, but as of VE 2014 FP2 you can view the adjacent condition of surfaces using the Input Data Visualisation feature.

Simply go to Apache, select some rooms, open up the IDV dialog, select 'Other > Surface Adjacent Condition', hit apply, and you'll see the results in Model Viewer II.
