Party Wall Attributes

This toolbar sits within the Trimble SketchUp application and gives direct access to all of IES' tools: VE-Ware, VE-Toolkits VE-Gaia and the full VE-Pro suite.

These walls should be drawn as any other internal partition or external wall i.e. as a single surface in SketchUp. The dimension properties are defined when you create the Construction that is assigned to this wall.

Draw the wall along the centreline as for any internal partition so that the Inner Volumes (if used) will be applied to the rooms on both sides properly.

you'd have to either:
1) add a dummy room to represent the other dwelling.
or
2) Change the adjacent condition of the party wall from "External" to "Temp from Profile" and assign a profile that represents the rough conditions. I'd create a notional wall construction(copy of int partition) as well because you'll only be able to assign ext. walls as fabric.
