I’m working in a natural ventilation system design for a store space (something like department store) with low inlets on the façade (20m2) and high outlets faced to adjacent building 3mts higher than those roof terminals, which means that the outlets are totally sheltered from wind by the adjacent building ( I attached some image in the link below), but in the results from apache simulation it shows sometimes, the air is coming from the outlets on the roof, as it is shown on the graphs, due to the wind pressure when its strikes the outlets openings, which it is not totally real, because the adjacent building protects the roof openings from the window. I’ve use the exposure type: ‘sheltered long wall’ in the outlet openings to specify that situation, but even with this configuration it is still coming air by the roof outlets, so I’d like to know how approximate are these results. In addition I’d like to know if there is an option to modify or adjust those wind coefficient pressure to make more realistic this situation or maybe it doesn’t take in account the wind pressure over some specific openings, in this case, the roof outlets
Thanks
Alejandro

Inconsistency in macroflow results, it’s maybe due to wind c

Hi !
If you don't want wind on your windows, select "internal" like exposure type. Cp of this exposure type is egal to zero. This mean that doesn't take the wind to this window.
