hi , i have inputted all lighting as w/m2/100lux from the lighting calcualtions supplied by elec engineer ,this was done in ve compliance , now i need to do heat gains and i noticed that when i simply move to apache tab the ltg heat gains are as the template not as my room-by-room entered values from VE-compliance, is there a way i can have these already inputted values brought into heat gains calcs avoiding the double amount of work of inputting it once again.
apologies if the subject is covered elsewhere already
regards
andy

Re: cibse heat gains
This is a good question.
The answer is that yes you can transfer the figures but you need to do it by exporting the tabular room data for the entire model into excel from VE and then paste it back into the tabular room data in Apache. Make sure you alter the headings in excel to match those in Apache tabular data because they differ slightly from the VE version.
It might take you a couple of attempts to make it work but stick with it. Remember to include the Room ID column for all pasting because that's what IES uses to identify rooms.
