BRUKL compliance 2015 Feature Pack 2 vs 2014

Hello everyone,
I just installed the VE 2015 02 version and imported a model that I created in 2014 version.
The issue is that when I run BRUKL compliance with the 2015 version the notional building (heating, aux and lighting) is significantly improved when compared with 2014 with a result a building that was passing Criterion 1 in 2014 now fails...
I can see that the BRUKL compliance check version is different between 2015 and 2014.
I was wondering if anyone else has the same issue and mainly if you know the reason behind this (what has changed?).
Thanks in advance,
Eleni

It's not unusual for the NCM to change slightly over time, even between official regulation versions. However, such changes should not impact Criterion1 by more than a few % at most. Your description of a significantly improved notional building would appear to buck this trend.

Can I ask a few questions please...

1) Does your BER stay the same?
2) What sort of building is it?
3) What sort of NCM system type is predominately applied?

About to leave for the weekend so making this one quick...

VE 2014 to VE 2015 Feature Pack 2 is quite a big jump, i'd recommend reading the release notes for VE 2015 & VE 2015 Feature Pack 1.

By comparing the Vista results from VE 2014 to VE 2015, and cross referencing with the release notes, you should be able to figure it if any of these changes impacted your results.

As well an update to the NCM Database for VE 2015 Feature Pack 2, there was also an under the radar update to the NCM Modelling Guide on 20th November. This mainly clarified a few things that confused users (and software vendors), but it also made a few changes to the Notional Building inputs. One that has caught a couple of users by surprise already is that when HEPA Filters were applied the Actual Building, the Notional Building will have its central SFP increased by 1 W/l/s.

All changes from the last NCM Modelling Guide are highlighted in yellow.

Thanks Terence, I missed out this NCM Guide update. I understand is OK to use the previous version for BRUKL compliance but not for EPC production.

Complex, the BER remains the same. The building type is student accommodation (university) with mainly naturally ventilated bedrooms (gas fired radiator heating).
