IES-VE User Forum

I study at University of Edinburgh and using VE for one of our course. I have purchased the version for students and installed all the package.

And i have a problem about the IES plugin for sketchup and i would like to know if you have relevant experience which might be helpful.
When I open some sketchup models including the original model you provided that will be a dialogue box jumping out

And then when i use the function identify rooms there will be another dialogue box
(Exception:'\xA47~' from GBK to UTF-8 ....then some path...).
However in some of the simple models I built by myself the errors don't exist and I can use that function well. In some of the sketchup models I built before, the errors happen again.
It is my first contact with VE. I would like to know if anyone can give some advice about the mentioned condition.
