CBDM results for schools

Post by jholgate »

Does anyone have much experience getting good results for sDA and UDI from single side glazed classrooms? I'm struggling to meet the FOS criteria for north facing rooms, even with higher than default surface reflectances, but have been informed by a contractor that the amount of glazing proposed has been sufficient to satisfy EFA on previous projects. However for those projects, another software was used to calculate CBDM predictions.

I know daylight modelling is an art but perhaps there is more artistic licence allowed for in other software??
