I quite often work on existing buildings where the the client has put in temperature loggers etc.
They are often keen to see how this compares to the modelling. However I never get provided with any reliable weather data for external conditions; temperature, wind speed etc.
And CIBSE weather data is often historic.
I know you can buy this sort of thing from the MET office. If IES were to provide up to date weather files for a few locations around the UK that could add a bit of value to the product?

Can IES sell recent weather data?

Re: Can IES sell recent weather data?
An interesting suggestion but perhaps our partners at Weather Analytics could provide this?

Alternatively our SCAN service might be something you would find interesting - just contact our consulting team and they'll be able to help you.
