An error occured while running Suncast (-3)

I'm getting this error on a model that was perfectly fine one day, yet the next day (after no modifications) is throwing this error up. Any ideas?

Hi,

I get a few problems running Suncast off our network.

Copying the model to the desktop seems to help.

Sometimes updating IES can throw up this sort of issue.

Its installed locally on my machine. Its become irregular and even though i can get it to run without the faster shading calc being on, when i go to do loads it states that suncast operations have not been carried out. Trouble is my model is complicated and it takes over an hour to run without the faster option.

It may be an issue with permissions.

Check the VE, Suncalc32 and mpiexec, on your machine have local/domain tcp access. You may need someone from your IT dept to confirm.
