Time-limited formula profiles

Hi
I’ve checked the manual, forums and faqs for an answer to what is a basic question but without success.
I’m modelling occupant behavior in the opening of windows in a naturally ventilated building and have no problem in modelling the behavior with formula profiles. My problem is that the formulas operate 24/7 and I want to limit their operation to the times when occupants are actually in the building.
I tried creating a regular profile scheduling the window to be open when occupants are present between, say, 0800 and 1800. I then added formulas to the table only in those segments where the occupants are present resulting in:
00:00 0
08:00 0
08:00 gt(ta,26,4)
18:00 gt(ta,26,4)
18:00 0
24:00 0
But the formulas never fired and the windows remain closed even when the room air temperatures were in the 30s. How can this be done?
