NCM Modelling Guide for Welsh 2014 Regulations

Post by JohnLloyd »

Does anyone know if the final NCM Modelling Guide for the Welsh 2014 Regulations is available anywhere? Or even a draft copy?

Hi John,

I've not heard anything regarding this. I will ask around to see if anyone knows when it will be published

Have you guys heard anything new on this? The July 31st deadline is creeping up on us and everything seems to still be very quiet.

We've not heard anything on the new Welsh regs. The approved document on the Welsh Government website makes reference to a 2014 Modelling guide for Wales and they link to the NCM BRE website but I can only see the modelling guide for England.

I'm not sure how much use it is to you but the beta version of iSBEM for the Welsh 2014 regulations was made available yesterday:

http://www.2013ncm.bre.co.uk/

BRE have said that the NCM Modelling Guide has not yet been finalised and that there are no draft versions of the document in the public domain. Once the guide is finalised they will upload it to the website above.
